Tudor(ish) Ruff part one

For this one I took the pattern for a Tudor ruff and scaled up the amount of material - I used a little bit more than the required length to gather up - I had intended to make it very wide and that would be enough. But then I considered - I could go around it and gather the hem for 50, 60 feet? But I could fold it over and gather it - hiding the hems and giving it more bulk, probably a better finish and... well, make it appropriately over the top for my outfits.
